| Obverse description | Aniconic field bearing multiple lines of Kufic Arabic legend arranged horizontally across the flan. The inscription, struck in relief on a flat field, displays the characteristic angular and elongated letterforms of early Abbasid epigraphy. The overall layout follows the standard epigraphic fals tradition, with no figurative imagery. The coin exhibits an irregular, somewhat flan-crack-affected planchet with areas of green cuprite patination typical of excavated copper issues of this period. |

The surface shows a dark brown patina with areas of malachite green corrosion concentrated toward the lower right of the flan. The planchet is irregular and slightly cracked, consistent with hammered copper coinage of the mid-second Hijri century minted at al-Fustat. |
