Reverse description Central field contains a multi-line Kufic Arabic inscription enclosed within a single linear circle, which is itself surrounded by a marginal legend running around the circumference. The inner legend reads 'Muhammad rasul Allah' (Muhammad is the messenger of Allah) above 'fals Sarmin' (fals of Sarmin), with the basmala formula 'bismillah' (in the name of Allah) incorporated into the text. The marginal legend continues the mint and denominational information. The overall layout follows the standard reformed Umayyad epigraphic type, with no figural imagery, the entire design comprising religious and administrative inscriptions in raised Kufic relief.
