A six-pointed star or asterisk ornament appears to the upper left of the horseman. The entire central design is enclosed within a double border of raised pellets running along the coin's circumference.

背面描述	Three-line Arabic inscription in Kufic-influenced Naskh script filling the central field, containing the name and titles of Sultan Sulayman II ibn Qilij Arslan. The inscription is enclosed within a border of raised pellets following the irregular circumference of the flan, consistent with the hammered coinage convention of the Rûm Seljuk sultanate.
