| Reverse description | Reverse of this hammered copper fals struck at Trablus (Tripoli) for Sultan al-Salih Hajji II, displaying a central Arabic mint legend within the field. The inscription identifies the mint of issue as Tripoli (Tarabulus), rendered in bold Arabic script. The flan is irregular and the surface heavily corroded, with encrustation partially obscuring the marginal areas, a feature typical of Mamluk provincial copper coinage of the late eighth century AH.
