Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Arabic inscription in Naskh or Thuluth script arranged across the central field, likely containing the ruler's name and titles or a religious formula. Dot borders or pellet decorations flank the inscription on either side, consistent with Zengid fals coinage of Aleppo. The field retains traces of arabesque or floral ornaments between lines of text. The overall style reflects the characteristic epigraphic design of 12th-century Artuqid-influenced Zengid bronzes, with the irregular hammered flan resulting in partial legend loss at the periphery.
