Reverse description Central field enclosed by an inner circle formed by two concentric parallel lines, bearing an Arabic inscription. A circular marginal legend surrounds the inner circle, containing additional titulature or mint and date information in Arabic script. The overall layout follows the standard Mamluk fals format for Damascus mint issues of the reign of al-Mansur Lajin (AH 696–698). The hammered strike has resulted in uneven distribution of detail across the flan.
