Reverse description The reverse displays a schematic figural or architectural motif rendered in low relief, possibly representing a stylised horseman or a symbolic device associated with Seljuk iconography, occupying the central field. The design is struck on an irregular flan with typical flat areas and weak peripheral detail resulting from the hand-hammered technique. Surrounding elements are largely effaced, consistent with the crude die-work characteristic of Rum Seljuk fals coinage of the reign of Kayqubad I.
