背面描述	Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription identifying the sultan, surmounted by a crescent and star device in the upper portion of the field, a characteristic type identifier for this emission of Kayka'us I. The inscription is distributed across several lines within a beaded or linear circular border, struck on an irregular hammered flan. A five-pointed star appears above or within the crescent, giving the type its numismatic designation. The overall execution is typical of Anatolian Seljuk copper fals coinage, with bold but somewhat roughly rendered lettering.
