| Reverse description | A cross pattée occupies the central field, with three pellets arranged at the terminal of each of its four arms, a decorative motif likely borrowed from contemporary Byzantine or Crusader numismatic prototypes. The cross is set within a beaded inner circle, surrounded by a plain border, with the outer field largely flat and unadorned. The design reflects the syncretic artistic influences present in Saltukid coinage minted in the eastern Anatolian region during the 12th century. |
