Obverse description Central field displays a multi-line Arabic inscription enclosed within a rectangular cartouche, the lines separated by horizontal rules. A stylized bird motif appears below the cartouche in the lower field. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, characteristic of hammered copper coinage of the Ilkhanate period. The surrounding field is plain and unadorned.

Reverse description A square frame bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription is inscribed within a circular border, creating a square-in-circle design typical of Ilkhanid copper fals coinage. The inscription fills the square compartment and likely contains the mint name and/or regnal formula of Abu Sa'id. The flan edges are irregular and the surfaces show the characteristic roughness of hammered copper issues from this period.
