Reverse description The reverse retains the original design of the host Bukhara mint fals, struck prior to the application of the Andijan countermark. Visible in the field are partial Arabic inscriptions and what appears to be a stylised floral or vegetal ornamental motif, typical of Timurid copper fals produced at the Bukhara mint in the early 15th century. The legends are partially effaced and distorted due to the irregular flan and subsequent countermarking process. The surface shows heavy wear and green cuprite patination consistent with extended circulation in a Central Asian monetary context.
