Obverse description Central field dominated by a prominent six-pointed star (hexagram) formed by two interlocking triangles, rendered in bold hammered relief. The interstices of the star are filled with pellets and small decorative devices. Arabic Kufic inscriptions occupy the central hexagonal space within the star, arranged in multiple lines. An outer marginal legend in Arabic script encircles the entire design, separated from the central motif by a dotted inner border. The overall design is characteristic of Qarakhanid copper coinage of the early eleventh century.
