| 正面描述 | Crudely struck copper fals displaying a multi-line Arabic legend in the central field, typical of Mamluk hammered coinage. The inscription reads the royal title of Sultan al-Ashraf Sha'ban II in bold, deeply incuse Naskh script characters. The flan is irregular in outline with uneven surfaces and areas of natural porosity consistent with the low-denomination copper coinage of the period. The legend occupies the majority of the field with no decorative border elements visible. Significant patination and encrustation partially obscure portions of the inscription. |
