| Descripción del anverso | Central field occupied by a multi-line Kufic Arabic religious legend arranged in horizontal registers across the flan. The shahada inscription is presented without figural imagery, consistent with orthodox Abbasid aniconic coinage. The text is surrounded by a single circular border line, within which a marginal legend continues around the periphery of the coin. The die is crudely executed in the hammered style typical of provincial frontier (thaghr) mint production of the early 9th century AH. The flan is irregular and slightly scalloped at the edges, with a reddish-brown copper surface showing areas of dark patination. |

| Descripción del reverso | Central field displays a multi-line Kufic Arabic legend arranged in horizontal registers, identifying the mint city and bearing the Prophetic declaration. The inscription is framed by a single inner circle, with an outer marginal legend running along the border. The execution is characteristic of the rough provincial hammered style associated with frontier mint (thaghr) coinage of the Abbasid period. A dentilated or rope-pattern outer border is visible on the reverse, enclosing the marginal legend. The flan shows the same irregular outline and dark copper patination seen on the obverse, consistent with local production at Thaghr al-Masisa circa 204–210 AH. |
