Reverse description The reverse field displays a two-line Persian mint and authority inscription in cursive script, reading 'Zarb Herat' (struck at Herat), confirming the mint of issue. The legend occupies the central field within a plain inner border, with the text arranged in a stacked format characteristic of Timurid anonymous copper fals. The surrounding field is heavily worn and pitted, consistent with extended circulation and the base-metal alloy used. The flan edges are irregular and jagged, a hallmark of the hand-cutting and hammering process employed at the Herat mint during this period. No additional ornamental devices or marginal legends are present.
