| 裏面の説明 | The reverse bears a central square or rectangular cartouche enclosing a date inscription in Arabic words reading 808 AH (corresponding to 1405 CE), arranged in horizontal registers within the frame. Additional Arabic marginal text runs along the borders of the cartouche. The lettering is rendered in a cursive Naskh-influenced hand typical of Timurid provincial copper issues. The flan is irregular with flat areas around the cartouche consistent with hammered manufacture. |
