| Obverse description | Uniface-style hammered copper fals of irregular round planchet. The obverse field bears a three-line Arabic religious inscription in Kufic script, centrally placed within the flat, unadorned field. No figural imagery, border beading, or decorative devices are present, consistent with the aniconic tradition of early Umayyad provincial coinage. The die is somewhat off-center, a characteristic feature of hammered provincial fals issues of this period. |
