Obverse description Central field occupied by a boldly rendered Arabic inscription in raised relief, executed in a cursive style characteristic of Anatolian beylik coinage. The legend is surrounded by a circular border, also bearing a partial marginal inscription. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with the characteristic rough texture of a hand-struck copper fals. The die workmanship is bold but informal, consistent with provincial mint production of the Candaroğulları dynasty.
