Reverse description Central field displays a multi-line Kufic Arabic inscription, similarly arranged in three to four lines within a plain border, mirroring the epigraphic style of the obverse. The reverse legend references the Prophet Muhammad and the divine message, consistent with the standard Umayyad reformed fals formula. The hammered flan exhibits irregular edges and rough surfaces with areas of encrustation and patination typical of excavated copper coinage from the early Islamic period. The suspension hole visible at the top rim continues through from the obverse, confirming post-mint piercing. No mint name or date appears, classifying this piece among the anonymous provincial issues of the Umayyad Caliphate.
