Obverse description Central field bears a three-line Arabic Kalima inscription contained within a circular border, reading 'لا اله / الا الله / وحده' (There is no god but God alone), executed in early Kufic script. The legend is arranged horizontally across the flan in a manner typical of post-reform Umayyad copper coinage. The coin exhibits the characteristic irregular, slightly off-round flan produced by the hammered technique. The surface shows natural patination consistent with age and circulation. No figural imagery is present, reflecting the aniconic reform coinage introduced under Caliph Abd al-Malik.
