| Obverse description | Central field features a stylized palm tree with four fronds rising from a slender trunk, serving as the principal device characteristic of early Umayyad aniconic coinage. A small gnat motif appears in the field, a known subsidiary symbol found on this fals type. A circular Arabic legend surrounds the central device. The flan is irregular and shows typical characteristics of hand-struck hammered coinage, with green and red patination across the surface. |
