| 裏面の説明 | Central geometric motif consisting of a multi-pointed star or cross-hatched device with pellet ornaments filling the interstices, a decorative type commonly employed on anonymous copper fals of the Anatolian beyliks in the AH 8th century. Fragmentary Arabic legend surrounds the device in the upper field, partially off-flan due to the irregular planchet. The lower field is largely plain and heavily worn, consistent with extensive circulation. The overall die workmanship is coarse, reflecting the provincial mint practices of the period. |
