| Obverse description | Arabic legend in three lines within a beaded or chain-divided circle, conferring the honorific title of the sultan. The central field bears the inscription عز الملك الطاهر نصره arranged horizontally, enclosed by a circular border formed by two ornamental chain-like lines. The coin is struck on an irregular flan typical of Mamluk copper coinage, with the legend occupying the majority of the available field. |
