| Obverse description | Central field bearing the royal titulature of Sultan al-Nasir Faraj in Arabic Naskh script, arranged in three horizontal lines reading from the center outward. The inscription opens with the sultan's honorific epithets and name, identifying him as al-Malik al-Nasir. The flan is irregular in form, as is typical of Mamluk hammered copper coinage, with the legends partially visible due to the crude striking characteristic of fals denomination issues of this period. |

| Reverse description | A circle encloses the central device of a lion passant surmounted by a pellet or point above, rendered in a schematic style characteristic of Mamluk fals coinage. A circular Arabic inscription runs around the outside of the inner circle, occupying the surrounding field. The design is struck on an irregularly shaped flan with uneven surfaces and patinated green corrosion typical of base-metal Mamluk issues, with portions of the marginal legend partially off-flan. |
