| Reverse description | The reverse is dominated by a six-petaled rosette centered within a linear hexalobe frame. Six pellets are evenly distributed in the spaces between the points of the hexalobe and the encircling border. The entire design is enclosed by a thick raised circular line forming the outer border. The decorative, non-epigraphic composition is characteristic of Mamluk fals coinage from provincial mints. |
