| 表面の説明 | Within a circle divided by two horizontal lines into three registers, the obverse bears an Arabic legend in three parts: the upper register contains the opening of the mint formula, the central register bears the honorific title of the sultan (al-Malik al-Muzaffar), and the lower register names the mint city of Halab (Aleppo). The inscription reads: Duriba al-Malik al-Muzaffar bi-Halab, meaning 'Struck by al-Malik al-Muzaffar in Aleppo.' The lettering is in cursive Arabic Naskh script typical of Mamluk copper coinage. |
