Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Arabic inscription arranged within a rectangular panel framed by a ruled border and a beaded outer circle. The text, executed in Naskhi script in raised relief, records the titles and name of the ruler al-Muzaffar Ghazi, including his honorific title al-Sultan al-Malik, along with the AH date 647. The inscription is distributed across three or four lines with additional partial legends visible in the margins. The style and layout are consistent with standard Artuqid-related provincial fals coinage of the mid-7th century AH.
