| Reverse description | Irregular rectangular hammered flan displaying several lines of Kufic Arabic script in raised relief, partially enclosed within a dotted or beaded circular border visible on portions of the surviving flan. The inscription occupies the central field and is struck with the characteristic crudeness of Taifa-period copper coinage, with the legend poorly centered on the die. The rough, porous surface of the flan reflects the low-denomination, utilitarian nature of this fractional copper issue. |
