Reverse description The reverse presents a multi-line Arabic Kufic inscription within a beaded inner circle, mirroring the obverse layout and consistent with standard Umayyad fals typology. A circular marginal legend in Kufic script runs around the inner circle, separated by a beaded border. The central inscription likely contains the Islamic profession of faith or a Quranic declaration, arranged over three or four lines. The flan edges are irregular and uneven, reflecting the crude hammered manufacture typical of copper coinage struck during the Abbasid revolutionary upheaval. No mintmark or date is visible within the die area itself.
