Reverse description Central field contains an Arabic inscription denoting the mint name, set within a roded (roped) circular border. The legend reads 'bi-Hamah', identifying the Hamah mint in Syria. The surrounding field is largely plain, with the irregular flan edge showing the characteristic rough finish of hammered Mamluk fals coinage. Green cuprite patination is visible across portions of the surface.
