| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a large Arabic legend enclosed within a raised circular border, the whole surrounded by a lobed or cusped outer ring creating a decorative frame. The Arabic inscription, rendered in bold Naskh script, reads 'Arzanjan' (أرزيخان), identifying the mint city. The flan is irregularly shaped and shows typical characteristics of hammered copper coinage, with moderate wear and dark patination across the surface. |
