Obverse description Central field features a stylized geometric or cartouche device, possibly a sun or star emblem, rendered in low relief characteristic of Ilkhanid hammered copper coinage. The design is set within a roughly circular flan showing typical irregular edges associated with hand-struck production. Surface patination is heavy dark green-brown, consistent with long burial or circulation. The central motif appears flanked by partial Arabic inscription fragments along the periphery. Strike is weak in areas, typical of provincial Erzurum mint output of this period.
