Obverse description Central legend arranged within a stepped geometric frame inspired by Tiwanaku (Tiahuanaco) architectural motifs. Two Tiwanaku-style deity masks appear at the top and bottom of the frame, and two rampant lion heraldic devices are set in square panels on either side. The founding and centenary dates flank the lower portion of the frame. The designer's signature appears at lower right.

Reverse description An Art Nouveau allegorical composition depicting a standing female figure, representing Liberty, holding an olive branch aloft in the upper field, with a mountain peak rising behind her. In the lower field, a seated female allegory surrounded by children holds a caduceus and a cornucopia overflowing with fruit, symbolizing commerce, industry, and agriculture. Gear wheels and stepped architectural elements referencing the Bolivian coat of arms appear in the background. The designer's signature is incised at lower right.
