| Obverse description | Central legend arranged within a stepped geometric frame inspired by Tiwanaku (Tiahuanaco) architectural motifs. Two Tiwanaku-style deity masks appear at the top and bottom of the frame, and two rampant lion heraldic devices are set in square panels on either side.
