| 备注 |
Tennessee has never issued its own banknotes under that name, and the United States federal government has never produced currency with French-language state titles. "Etat du Tennesse" appears on a well-known category of fantasy or souvenir notes sold as novelty items — typically marketed to tourists at historical sites or through gift shops, with no monetary value or legal-tender status at any point in their existence.
The French phrasing echoes Louisiana Purchase-era cartographic conventions, which gives these pieces a superficial period feel, but the 2003 production date removes any ambiguity.
