| Obverse description | Octagonal uniface striking trial struck in aluminium, with a plain, unadorned field at center featuring a small raised concentric ring device. The legend REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE curves along the upper periphery in incuse capital Latin letters, following the eight-sided contour of the flan. The lower field is blank, reserved for mint differents. The beveled edges of the octagonal flan are clearly defined, characteristic of a module test piece intended to assess die alignment and flan geometry rather than to present a finished design. |
