Obverse description A dense arrangement in high relief of the flags of the Allied nations of WWI, identifiable among them the flags of Brazil, the United States, Portugal, and Japan, filling the entire field. The flags are framed by an oak and laurel wreath along the lower border, with a circular medallion at the base bearing the effigy of Medusa resting upon a sheathed gladius.

Reverse description The central field features a circular medallion bearing the legend ON NE PASSE PAS in three lines, surrounded by a radiating sunburst design flanked by oak branches, two crossed cannon barrels, and two crossed axes with a fasces bundle above. The outer border legend reads 4 DE AGOSTO DE 1914 on the upper left and 11 DE NOVEMBRO DE 1918 on the lower right, separated by decorative rosettes.
