Obverse description An aluminium encasing ring retains a 1947 Canadian bronze cent at centre, displaying the bareheaded portrait of King George VI in left-facing profile with the surrounding legend GEORGIVS VI D:G:REX ET IND:IMP. The aluminium ring bears the legend SOUVENIR OF 100TH ANNIVERSARY around the upper field, with the issuer name MASSEY-HARRIS prominently inscribed along the lower arc, and the dates 1847 and 1947 flanking decorative devices in the lower field.

Reverse description The reverse of the aluminium encasing ring displays the legend GOOD LUCK around the upper arc with a four-leaf clover device at top, a horseshoe device to the left, and a swastika (traditional good luck symbol) to the right. The legend KEEP ME AND PROSPER is inscribed along the lower arc. The centre retains the reverse of the encased 1947 Canadian cent, showing a maple leaf sprig device with the denomination 1 CENT above, and CANADA with the date 1947 below.
