Reverse description The reverse retains the original obverse design of the host Lincoln cent, showing the right-facing bust of Abraham Lincoln in low relief, now heavily flattened and distorted by the rolling process. Legends reading LIBERTY to the right and IN GOD WE TRUST along the lower border remain partially legible, along with the date 1958 D, all appearing mirror-reversed as a consequence of the elongation technique.
