| Obverse description | Draped and cuirassed bust of Louis XIV facing right, portrayed in the antique manner with a voluminous flowing wig. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the classical tradition, with the king shown in armour evoking antiquity. The encircling Latin legend commences at the 7 o'clock position (19 h) and identifies the sovereign as King of France and Navarre. |

| Reverse description | A crowned oval shield of France — charged with the three fleurs-de-lis — is centrally displayed in the field, flanked symmetrically on either side by a palm branch, the whole composition evoking royal dignity and divine benediction. The mint workshop letter appears in the exergue beneath the shield. The surrounding legend, taken from Psalm 113, forms a religious invocation, with the date incorporated within the reverse lettering. |
