| Obverse description | Draped armored bust of Henri de la Tour d'Auvergne facing right, wearing a ruff collar and elaborately decorated cuirass. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the late Renaissance style, with the subject depicted with a full beard. The mintmaster's mark 'H' appears in the lower field, with the date 1615 inscribed along the bottom rim. The circular Latin legend is separated from the central design by a beaded inner border. |
