| Obverse description | Left-facing draped bust of Europa, portrayed as a classical female effigy with long flowing hair adorned by a floral crown of stylized blossoms. The bust is set within an ornamental field framed by two symmetrical olive or laurel branches extending from the lower exergue toward the upper rim. The legend EUROPA appears in raised Roman capitals along the lower exergue, accompanied by the engraver's signature P. RODIER incused to the right of the bust. A decorative fasces-like ornament appears at the base below the legend, and the entire design is bordered by a fine beaded rim. |
