Obverse description Draped and cuirassed bust of Louis XV facing left, with bare head, the neck tied, wearing the cordon and cross of the Order of the Holy Spirit over an embroidered jacket. The royal effigy is rendered in high relief in the French academic tradition. The Latin legend encircles the bust along the periphery, separated by a raised inner border.
