Obverse description Displayed eagle with outstretched wings facing right, rendered in bold relief in the Gothic heraldic style characteristic of 13th-century Tyrolean coinage. A double rosette ornament appears within the circular Latin legend. The legend reads COMES TIROL, referencing the comital title of the Count of Tyrol. The design occupies the full flan, consistent with hammered medieval groschen production.
