| Description de l’avers | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Stanisław August Poniatowski occupying the central field, rendered with naturalistic detail including flowing curled hair. The circumferential Latin legend reads STANISLAUS AUG. D. G. REX POL. M. D. L., identifying the monarch as King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania by the grace of God. The portrait is executed in a restrained neoclassical style consistent with late eighteenth-century Polish royal coinage. A dentilated border frames the design along the coin's rim. |

| Description du revers | Central device comprising the quartered royal arms of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, displaying the White Eagle of Poland and the mounted knight (Pahonia) of Lithuania in alternate quarters, with the Ciołek bull's head of the Poniatowski family on an escutcheon at the fess point, all surmounted by a royal crown. The shield is encircled by a wreath of laurel and palm branches tied at the base. The date 1777 appears to the left of the shield and the mintmaster's initials E.B. are inscribed below. A partial Latin legend is legible around the periphery. |
