Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Stanisław August Poniatowski occupying the central field, rendered with naturalistic detail including flowing curled hair. The circumferential Latin legend reads STANISLAUS AUG. D. G. REX POL. M. D. L., identifying the monarch as King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania by the grace of God. The portrait is executed in a restrained neoclassical style consistent with late eighteenth-century Polish royal coinage. A dentilated border frames the design along the coin's rim.
