| Obverse description | Draped and armored bust of Augustus III, King of Poland and Elector of Saxony, facing right, wearing a flowing wig and an elaborate crown. The effigy is rendered in a baroque style with fine detailing on the drapery and armor at the shoulder. A partial Latin legend curves around the upper periphery, reading REX POLONIARUM (King of the Poles). The field shows signs of circulation wear consistent with a coin struck for general commerce. |

| Reverse description | Quartered royal arms of Saxony and Poland surmounted by an electoral crown, the shield divided by a cross pattee into four sections bearing alternating Polish eagles and Lithuanian horsemen, with the Saxon arms inescutcheon at center. The shield is flanked by elaborate baroque scrollwork and laurel branches. The date 1762 appears in the upper field, and the denomination 8 GR (8 Groszy) is inscribed in the lower exergue. A partial legend referencing the electoral title (ELECT.) is visible to the left, and the Leipzig mint initials EC (for mintmaster Ernst Christian) appear below the shield. |
