Reverse description Central field displays the crowned arms of Toruń — a fortified gateway with battlements — set within an oval cartouche and flanked by laurel branches. The mint letters D and L appear flanking the central shield, identifying the die-cutter or mint officials. The date 1651 is divided across the upper field. The surrounding circular Latin legend reads GROS: ARG: REG: POLO:, denoting this as a silver groschen of the Kingdom of Poland. The entire design reflects the Baroque heraldic engraving style typical of mid-17th-century Polish hammered coinage.
