Reverse description The reverse bears a centrally placed royal crown at the top, beneath which the date is divided as 6·II·50 (for 1650), followed by a four-line Latin inscription occupying the field: GROS·ARG· / DVP·REGN· / POLON·, denoting 'silver groschen, double, of the Kingdom of Poland'. Below the inscription, the Bydgoszcz mint mark appears as a small decorative emblem flanked by ornamental stops. The rim is defined by a beaded inner border.
