| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of King Michał Korybut Wiśniowiecki facing right, with long flowing curly hair extending to the shoulder, rendered in high relief in the Baroque style characteristic of Jan Höhn the Younger's workshop. The king is portrayed in armour with a decorative mantle, conveying regal authority. A small crowned escutcheon appears at the bust truncation. The circular Latin legend surrounding the effigy reads MICHAEL: D: G. REX POL. M. D. LITHUA: &, identifying the monarch as King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania. |
