Obverse description Central field features the crowned royal cypher of Jan II Kazimierz Waza, composed of interlaced letters beneath a regal crown. The date 16-52 is divided and flanked to either side of the cypher. The design is rendered in the characteristic hammered style of mid-17th-century Polish-Lithuanian coinage, with a beaded or rope border encircling the field.

Reverse description Central field depicts the Pahonia (Vytis), the armoured knight on horseback charging to the right, being the heraldic emblem of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, as used on Wilno (Vilnius) mint issues. Below the horse, a decorative floral or cross motif is visible. The design is enclosed within a circular border, consistent with the hammered small coinage of the period.
